Bisnode acquires Bilfakta

Bisnode has signed an agreement to acquire Bilfakta i Sverige AB, Sweden’s largest database of automotive information. Bisnode’s subsidiary InfoTorg currently offers InfoBil, a comprehensive information service for the automobile industry, and bank and insurance companies. The acquisition of Bilfakta will strengthen its offering with extensive new and historical automotive technical facts.

InfoTorg’s InfoBil service gives customers an overview of Swedish automobiles and auto fleets with information that is updated daily. Bilfakta is one of Sweden’s oldest and most comprehensive automotive information services, with annual revenue of SEK 4 million. The integration of InfoTorg’s service with Bilfakta’s extensive database of technical automotive information and the development of integrated system solutions will create Sweden’s best automotive information solution. “Bilfakta will supplement and strengthen our offering of market-segmented information solutions. This will enable us to realise valuable synergies in data collection and in development of new innovative products and solutions,” says Mats Erwald, Regional Director Nordic.
