Bisnode, the leading provider of decision support solutions, has acquired the remaining shares in the Norwegian marketing solutions business Bisnode MatchIT. Following the transaction, Bisnode is fully integrating all operations to leverage economies of scale and market leadership in the Nordic market.

In May 2011 Bisnode acquired 90.1 per cent of the shares in Norwegian Lindorff Match. Following the acquisition, Bisnode integrated the business into its existing operations and merged the datasets in order to provide customers with a market-leading offering. The acquisition has created significant synergies and organic growth development. The co-ownership has proved to be successful and Bisnode has now acquired the remaining 9.9 per cent of the shares.

“As a strategic partner in decision support, it is vital for us to continuously expand our product portfolio and expertise in the areas demanded by our customers. Since 2011 our data quality services have shown healthy growth. Bisnode Matchit has an unique platform and competence within data quality services with a market leading position in Norway. The solution area is identified as an important growth segment in all our markets. We are convinced that the full integration of our operations will create good potential for an enhanced customer offering across the entire Nordic region,” says Lars Pettersson, CEO of Bisnode.

The share acquisition was carried out on 10 October 2014 and will accelerate Bisnode’s growth within data quality services.
