Bisnode to sell its non core french operation

Report this content

The business information company Bisnode divests its non-core French operation, specialized in direct marketing services based on consumer information. The sale is in line with Bisnode’s strategy to focus on markets where a leading position based on comprehensive total offerings can be achieved.

The French operation with 121 employees has annual revenue of around SEK 146 million, and has its head office in Paris and branch office in Lille.

“The divestment is in line with our strategy to focus on markets where we can achieve leading positions based on comprehensive total offerings. In addition, the French business suffers from generally deteriorating market conditions as well as from changed legislation for the direct marketing industry”, says Lars Pettersson, CEO of Bisnode.

The agreement to sell the French operation to the English investor Coligny Capital was closed on January 12. The parties have agreed not to disclose the deal terms.
