Our Prayers are with Newtown, Connecticut

The Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO)

The Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) sends our condolences and deepest prayers to the families and community in Newtown, Connecticut. As an organization that works with children and families every day, we were deeply moved after receiving the news of the mass tragedy involving children – our most precious gifts from God.

Our sympathies also go out to the families of the heroic educators who gave their lives to save the lives of students. These brave educators, who worked every day to help ensure children received the best possible education, gave the ultimate sacrifice in trying to protect them.

Our individual and collective hearts are in mourning, and we stand in solidarity with our prayers for strength and healing for the families of the victims, Sandy Hook Elementary School, and Newtown, Connecticut.  May God be with you all.
