Global automobile brand Lynk & Co has partnered with BLAST Premier ahead of the tournament series’ season-defining World Final (13-17 December) taking place in Abu Dhabi next month.

The automotive industry and esports are embarking on an exciting new collaboration, led by Lynk & Co and BLAST Premier. Both brands hope to use the partnership to bridge the gap between high-performance vehicle enthusiasts and esports fans.

As part of the partnership, Lynk & Co will be the official transport partner of the World Final, providing transportation for the players to and from the Etihad Arena, fans will have the chance to see a Lynk & Co 05 up close and personal in the arena bowl alongside a number of physical and digital activations across the event.

Lynk & Co are a global automobile brand with ambition to flip the industry upside down,  specialising in providing cars that are built with sustainability, simplicity and flexibility in mind to provide a personal, open and connected experience for drivers.

Alexander Lewin, VP of Disruption and Programming at BLAST, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with leading automotive brand Lynk & Co, who share with BLAST a passion for technology and innovation. December’s World Final will be the second consecutive year that the prestigious esports event will be staged in the UAE capital after last year’s event, which was the biggest esports event to be hosted in the UAE. The event sees eight of the globe’s best Counter-Strike teams compete for the chance to end the year as world champions and a share of the  $1million prize pool.

G2 Esports lift the trophy at last year’s World Final and will have a chance to defend their  crown after confirming their place in this year’s tournament alongside Heroic, FaZe Clan, Team Vitality, NAVI, ENCE and MOUZ Esports - with the remaining spot to be taken by the winners of this month’s BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen.
