Cineworld and BLAST team up with the Paris Major and last ever CS:GO Major set to be shown live in cinemas across the world

Cineworld has teamed up with BLAST to bring next month’s BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 to the big screen with the final set to be shown live across 39 cinemas in 8 different countries. 

Last September, France President Emmanuel Macron’s wish to host a Counter-Strike Major was realised when BLAST announced plans to host the country’s first ever CS Major and last ever CS:GO Major. 

May’s Major in the French capital will see the world’s 24 best Counter-Strike teams compete for the converted Major trophy and the lion’s share of a $1,250,000 prize pool. The final is set to take place on Sunday, 21st May from 17:00 CEST. 

The final of the Paris Major will be shown in Cineworld Cinemas venues around the world, with the following locations set to show the event’s finale:

The BLAST.tv Major joins a list of high-profile international events taking place in France over the next few years, alongside: 2023 Rugby World Cup, 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris and the 2025 Rugby League World Cup.
