New Blika office in Kalmar, Sweden
Blika corporation is now opening a new office in Kalmar, Sweden. The office will work as a unit together with the office in Oskarshamn.
“The city and region are good for us; they have a thriving IT-community and we’ll be able to find people with the right competences and skills. Besides from recruitment possibilities it’s easier to network and meet other people from the industry for inspiration and develop new ideas,” says Lennart Karlsson, CTO at Blika.
The new office opened at the beginning of May 2019 and is centrally located in Kalmar. Right now, three Blika employees are working from Kalmar, but the plan is to grow.
“The IT education at the university in Kalmar is highly renowned. For us, being present in Kalmar is a long-term strategy to recruit people with high expertise and relevant knowledge of the IT-market.”
