Hemphill Construction Co. oversees Disaster Relief Services

Hemphill Construction Co., Inc. of Florence, MS, was hired to assist three communities in Alabama (Franklin County, Phil Campbell and Fultondale) in the arduous task of cleaning up the mountains of debris left by the devastating tornado in late April.

The clean-up services that Hemphill Construction is providing are being led by the company's David Deaton, a Red Bay, Alabama native.

David is an accomplished pilot, and would be happy to give media a tour via plane or car to view the progress of the clean-up efforts throughout Franklin County and Fultondale, and can provide updates on the amount of debris already removed, and what is yet to be done.

He also can offer advice to other communities on the best way to prepare for other natural disasters so that clean-up efforts can begin the very next day after a disaster, beginning with the mammoth push to clear primary and secondary routes of transportation and roads leading to healthcare facilities to provide immediate access into devastated areas and allow for the passage of emergency and law enforcement vehicles.

Don’t hesitate to contact Jeanne Albrecht at 210-223-5409 or jeanne@blueclover.com if you are interested in a tour, or would prefer to interview David via phone or in person at one of the debris sites.
