Albert exploration well temporarily suspended

Stavanger, 14 June 2012: Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) announces that drilling of exploration well 6201/11-3 in PL519 targeting the Albert prospect has been temporarily suspended until August. The Bredford Dolphin drilling rig is moving to a Norwegian yard to complete its five year renewal survey before returning to complete the Albert exploration well.


Noreco has 20 percent interest in PL519. Lundin Petroleum is the operator with 40 percent interest, and the other partners are Bayerngas Norge AS and Spring Energy Norway AS with 20 percent interest respectively.
