BlueNord: Update on Tyra Redevelopment Project and Tyra Production Guidance

Report this content

Oslo, 30 August 2024: BlueNord ASA ("BlueNord" or the "Company") is providing an update regarding Tyra II (“Tyra”) based on information received by the operator TotalEnergies.

The IP compressor transformer that was subject to an operational occurrence in April 2024 is now offshore at the Tyra facilities having been successfully repaired onshore.

Total Energies is focused on ensuring the long-term integrity of the Tyra facilities, and prior to restarting the transformer the operator has notified BlueNord it intends to take steps and implement measures that are expected to allow maximum technical capacity to be reached in Q4 2024.  Reference is also made to the REMIT notifications issued by TotalEnergies: Postings (gashub.at) (https://www.gashub.at/remit/postings.xhtml).

However, the ramp-up of export volumes is now expected to be slower than is reflected in the production guidance published by BlueNord on 10 July 2024 and the Company is therefore placing its Tyra production guidance for Q3 2024 and Q4 2024 under review.  BlueNord expects to update the market with further details in due course.

Base production from Dan, Gorm and Halfdan continues to be strong, and the guidance for these assets in Q3 2024 and Q4 2024 is reiterated.
