Drilling of exploration well 1/3-11 on the Ipswich prospect located in license PL 274 in Norway has started. The well is being drilled by the rig Maersk Guardian, and the planned total depth for this vertical well is 3,380 meters. Earlier this year, a successful appraisal well with sidetrack on the Oselvar discovery in the same license was drilled. The Ipswich prospect is located approximately 9 kilometres south-east of Oselvar. Results from the drilling are expected by August. Noreco holds a 15% share in the license and DONG E&P Norge (40 %) is the operator. The other partners are PA Resources (30%), Revus (15 %).
