Presentation of third quarter interim report

Stavanger 27 November 2014: As previously announced, Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) will publish the interim report for the third quarter Friday 28 November. The report will as usual be published on www.newsweb.no and www.noreco.com before the stock exchange opens.

Due to conflicting meetings, no presentation will be held on Friday. Management will however be available in a telephone conference Monday 1 December at 10:00 CET. Before opening up for questions, a brief statement based on the quarterly report will be given.

CEO Tommy Sundt, CFO Odd Arne Slettebø and VP Exploration Lars Fosvold will be present from the company to participate in the telephone conference.

The work with mapping possible solutions to the company’s financial challenges is continuing at full speed. The dialogue with creditors about deferral of payments and waivers related to loan agreements is constructive and good and the company expects that a bondholder meeting will be called shortly to resolve these matters. Please refer to the notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange dated 19 November 2014 for further background in this respect.
