BNP PARIBAS IS LOOKING TO ACQUIRE UP TO 100% OF EXANE
After a successful 17-year partnership, BNP Paribas is looking to acquire up to 100% of Exane, raising its stake from the 50% currently held.
“This further integration will build on our solid foundations for our Equity franchise from a top-ranked Research house in Europe to Equity Capital Markets, Equities Cash and derivatives. It is a decisive move in order to support BNP Paribas’ ambition to position itself as a leading Global Equities franchise at the level of its US peers and become the preferred European Global bank for the Nordic corporates and institutions.
We are thrilled to collaborate even closer with Martin Cristiansson and the Exane team in the Stockholm office as we truly believe this will enable us to better serve our Nordic clients.” Says Eirik Winter, CEO for BNP Paribas Group Nordic Region
