BNP Paribas launches Nordic Foundation to support culture, solidarity and the environment
BNP Paribas launches a Nordic Foundation to back local visionaries and initiatives focused on culture, solidarity and the environment. The launch of the foundation underscores the Bank’s long-term commitment to the Nordic market.
Leading global European bank BNP Paribas is proud to announce the launch of Stiftelsen BNP Paribas Nordic Foundation which aims to help strengthen local communities and contribute with a positive social- and environmental impact in the Nordic region.
The foundation will focus its philanthropic activities around three fields of action: culture, solidarity and the environment. Its efforts will include supporting local visionaries and organizations, partnering with initiatives, and spearheading projects that align with its mission.
BNP Paribas in the global bank with the strongest presence on the ground in the Nordics. The bank started its growth story in the region in 2018, and has since then hired at all levels locally, built several businesses from scratch (including Investment Banking), and tripled its business with the Nordic clients. BNP Paribas is a part of Nordic society through a number of partnerships since before, including the Nobel Prize Concert, Liljevalchs art gallery and BNP Paribas Nordic Open (former Stockholm Open). The launch of the Foundation further anchors BNP Paribas’ roots in the local soil.
