Quartiers Properties appoints new CEO
Quartiers Properties AB (publ) (“Quartiers” or “the company”) is appointing a new CEO, with the current incumbent Katri Lind vacating the post. Effective from today, Quartiers is appointing Marcus Johansson Prakt, the company’s CFO, as Interim CEO.
“Katri has made a positive contribution and performed well during her time as CEO. I would like to express my thanks to Katri personally and on behalf of the Board of Directors,” said Chairman of the Board Jörgen Cederholm, while welcoming Marcus to his new role.
“I’m extremely proud of what I have achieved in my two years as CEO. It has been a busy and rewarding period spent with fantastic employees and owners. We’ve gone from being an entrepreneur-owned company, to a listed property development enterprise that has established itself on the Spanish Costa del Sol and built up a property portfolio valued at over half a billion Swedish kronor. Quartiers Properties is heading in the right direction, and the time is right to pass the baton as the company prepares to take further steps and bolster its presence and organisation on site in Spain,” commented Ms Lind.
The Board will now start the process of seeking a permanent CEO replacement. To facilitate a smooth transition, the company’s CFO is being appointed as Interim CEO. “Marcus has a sound grasp of the company’s operations and is already based in Spain,” said Chairman of the Board, Jörgen Cederholm.
