Quartiers Properties publishes objectives for each property project and investor presentation

The Board of Quartiers Properties AB (publ) (“Quartiers” or “the company”) has established objectives for each of its property projects. At the same time, it is publishing an investor presentation which the company intends to use at meetings for investors, primarily in Madrid. The presentation states that the Board and Chief Executive Officer estimate the existing property portfolio can generate additional shareholder value in excess of the current net asset value of around EUR 67.4 million. At 30 June 2018, the company’s net asset value was EUR 40.9 million. As a result, the current property and project portfolio is considered to have the potential to generate additional growth in value of 165 percent, compared with the net asset value at 30 June 2018.

The company intends to create shareholder value through the improvement of existing rental properties, continued planning work in order to secure additional development rights in the project at the Centro Forestal Sueco property, and through the realisation of profit after tax from the company’s property development projects. All in all, these measures are estimated to create shareholder value (in addition to the current net asset value) of EUR 67.4 million, resulting in a total of EUR 108.3 million.

The company has already taken important steps in the process of creating additional value for shareholders. Among other activities, work has begun on renovations to the hotel in the Golden Mile district, and the sale of the 22byQuartiers property development project is underway, with phase 1 already delivered. In addition, the company has already secured a building permit for the Ocean View project and carried out improvements to the company’s rental property in Benahavís, corresponding to an increase in value of EUR 15.4 million.
