Bonava has signed an agreement with Grandab Fastigheter Södra Centrum Holding AB, owned by Revcap och Grandab Invest, to acquire approximately 230 building rights in Gothenburg, Sweden. The transaction amounts to SEK 312 million. Work on the zoning plan is expected to begin in autumn 2022 and the production of the first housing units during 2025.

– We are delighted to be able to carry out this transaction that will strengthen our building rights portfolio in Gothenburg moving forward. The project has a fantastic location with ten minutes journey time to both the city’s main shopping street Avenyn and the centre of Mölndal, says Carmith Mårtensson, Regional Manager Riks, Bonava Sweden.

The project is located in Södra centrum just five minutes south of the central areas of Gothenburg by tram to the Liseberg amusement park. The Ica Maxi supermarket, Kunskapsskolan and Internationella Engelska Skolan are located immediately adjacent to the project. Since the project is located close to the border between the Gothenburg and Mölndal municipalities, residents will also have close access to Mölndal centre.
