Bonava has signed an agreement with Bostads AB Mimer to acquire approximately 270 building rights in Västerås. The transaction amounts to SEK 133 million. The transfer of ownership of the property and production of the first condominiums is expected to take place in 2024.

– This is a transaction with great potential. Öster Mälarstrand is one of the most attractive locations in Västerås. Bonava is already constructing 560 housing units on the adjacent properties in the neighborhood, which will be completed in phases by 2024. We are therefore highly familiar with the area, municipality and the customers’ requirements and preferences, and look forward to increasing our involvement in Västerås, says Carmith Mårtensson, Regional Manager Riks, Bonava Sweden.

There are preschools, public transport, parks, a shoreline walk, grocery stores and The Steam Hotel in close proximity to the project.
