Bonava acquires land and creates neighbourhood with about 350 housing units in Botkyrka
Bonava has signed an agreement to acquire a property from Stenhus Förvaltning Stockholm. The property is located in central Tumba in Botkyrka municipality, an area where Bonava plans to construct about 350 housing units.
The property is part of the Samariten block and has been identified as a prioritised development area in Botkyrka, given its attractive location north of central Tumba. The area is located close to schools, service and public transport, with good connections to the centre of Stockholm.
- I’m pleased to be expanding our project and development rights portfolio in a growing area of Stockholm. The acquisition is in line with our strategy of developing reasonably priced homes where many people can have the highest quality of life, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit Manager at Bonava Sweden.
Bonava will assume possession of the property once the detailed development plan gains legal force, which is expected to occur in 2020. The first sod is also expected to be turned in 2020.
