Bonava acquires land for 120 housing units in Axelsberg, Stockholm
Bonava has signed an agreement to acquire 120 building rights in Axelsberg, Stockholm from Rikshem. The transaction is valued at SEK 229 million and is contingent upon the expected approval of a zoning plan in early 2022. The first housing units are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the fourth quarter of 2024.
– The land acquisition is in line with our ambitions to increase our presence in Stockholm. Axelsberg is a central, attractive residential area with good conditions for us to create vibrant neighbourhoods, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President at Bonava Sweden.
The new neighbourhood will be along Selmedalsvägen in Axelsberg, close to local shops, services and the underground as well as Lake Mälaren and the surrounding green spaces.
