Bonava acquires land for 77 single-family homes in Steninge, Stockholm
Bonava acquires land in Steninge, Sigtuna Municipality, just outside Stockholm, from Gediminas Property AB. The transaction amounts to SEK 92 million in underlying property value. There is a zoning plan for the land and Bonava is planning to construct 77 Nordic Swan eco-labelled single family homes. The first housing units are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the third quarter of 2023.
– Our single-family homes are both attractive and cost-effective, while interest in single-family housing has increased during the pandemic. The land acquisition will strengthen our position in the Stockholm area and contribute to our continued growth in the single-family housing segment, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.
The neighbourhood is located at Steninge Palace, with proximity to Lake Mälaren, recreational spaces and close to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Bonava is already constructing 29 single-family homes in the area, all of which have been sold, and is planning to start the production of a further 36 single-family homes using the same building system.
