Bonava continues to optimise its building rights portfolio and divests land in Uppsala
Bonava is divesting the Librobäck 7:2 property in Uppsala city centre to the real estate company Aeonic. Handover is planned for June 2024 and the zoning plan for the property in question permits building rights of approximately 33,000 square metres of light gross floor area.
– This transaction is in line with Bonava Sweden’s strategy to proactively optimise its building rights portfolio. We are divesting building rights that are not a good strategic fit, thereby increasing cash flow and facilitating the start of new projects in pace with improvements in the market. Combined with the Seminariet property – where sales have just commenced – and building permits in the neighbouring Klockaren project, this is a good example of how the market is developing in a positive way for Bonava in Uppsala city centre, says Michael Björklund, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.
