Bonava initiates production of 53 houses in Kareby, Kungälv

Bonava is initiating the production of 53 houses just north of Kungälv, Sweden. The first housing units are expected to be recognised in profit and transferred to the customer in the first quarter of 2021.

- It’s gratifying to see so much interest in Kareby Äng. In this first stage, we are building homes with different forms of tenure in a vibrant neighbourhood. It will be inspired by a rural idyll and have a modern village feel, featuring playgrounds, barbecue areas, and a shared premises for events where residents can meet and socialise, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.

Bonava is planning to create a total of 167 housing units in the area, in several stages, comprising both owner-occupied and tenant-owner units. The Kareby Äng block is an entirely new residential area located close to the forest, sea and lakes.
