Bonava most active housing developer in Germany

Bonava has been named Germany’s most active housing developer for the fifth consecutive year. This is according to a survey recently carried out by market analysis and consultancy company bulwiengesa.  

- We are proud to have received this recognition for the fifth consecutive year and the first year under our new brand. Germany is a strategically important market for us and one where our ambition is to grow. We can see that there is major demand for affordable housing in areas where people have the highest quality of life, which is in line with our offering, says Joachim Hallengren, President and CEO of Bonava.

Each year, the independent market analysis company bulwiengesa names Germany’s most active property developer. The analysis is based on how many square metres have been developed in Germany’s largest real estate property markets (Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart) in the housing, office, retail and hotel sectors. 

In autumn 2016, Bonava in the Real Estate Brand Value Study was also ranked at the top spot as Germany’s strongest brand in its segment and was awarded at the real estate fair Expo Real.
