Bonava AB has been named one of the most equitable companies on the stock exchange for the second year in a row, according to the Allbright Foundation’s annual review. In the recently published 2020 Allbright Report, Bonava has been highly ranked in the “green list”, which includes companies with the most equal management teams.

Since Bonava was founded in 2016, the company has challenged the property and construction industry, in part through its strategic work with diversity, as the company has grown from approximately 1,600 employees in 2016 to the current figure of some 2,300 employees.

– Equality should be a hygiene factor in today’s Swedish private sector. A diverse group provides the basis for dynamic discussions and collaboration, and results in better decisions being made. This applies to teams across all levels of an organisation – not least a management team, says Joachim Hallengren, President and CEO of Bonava.

Bonava Sweden was also highly ranked in the first Swedish version of the SHE Index powered by EY, where the results were based on criteria such as gender diversity, policies, key performance indicators and talent development. Bonava was ranked fifth out of the 25 companies evaluated.
