Bonava sells 162 rental apartments in Västerås

Bonava is selling a rental project to NREP Nordic Strategies Fund III. The transaction comprises 162 rental apartments situated in the new Öster Mälarstrand district of Västerås, Sweden. The project is expected to be recognised in profit in the fourth quarter of 2021.

- In partnership with NREP, we can now offer the people of Västerås newly constructed and efficiently planned rental apartments in Öster Mälarstrand. This marks the start of a new attractive district near to both Lake Mälaren and Västerås city centre. Rental apartments are an essential part of realising our vision of creating homes and happy neighbourhoods where people have the highest quality of life, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.

The Förseglet block has both a central and waterfront location near the banks of the Mälaren. The two buildings will also offer residents a unique view across the city. The project is the first of three phases where Bonava will over time build around 500 homes in this neighbourhood.
