Bonava sells 80 rental apartments in Dusseldorf
Bonava is selling 80 rental apartments in Krefeld, outside Dusseldorf, to INDUSTRIA WOHNEN. The transaction amounts to EUR 29.5 million and the first housing units are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the fourth quarter of 2023.
– We are pleased to create a new sustainable neighbourhood for the INDUSTRIA WOHNEN property fund. In addition to plenty of parking for bicycles, we’ll be able to meet residents’ need for green spaces by moving parking for cars to an underground garage, where it will be possible to charge electric vehicles, says Sabine Helterhoff, Business Unit President, Bonava Germany.
The new residential area is in Krefeld, immediately northwest of Dusseldorf and thirty kilometres from the border with the Netherlands. The 80 apartments will be distributed across three apartment blocks. The apartments are handicap accessible, with two to four rooms and ranging from 53 to 107 square metres in area. With a video door phone and, for example, electric Venetian blinds and open kitchens, the apartments are practically equipped and suited for both young people and seniors. A preschool, elementary school, playgrounds, doctor’s office and supermarket are within close walking distance.
