Instead of giving out Christmas gifts to employees, Bonava has prioritised a donation to an organisation that helps people in need. Bonava has chosen to donate this year’s Christmas gift of SEK 250,000 to Doctors Without Borders.

At Bonava, we aim to improve people’s lives by creating homes and neighbourhoods where people feel safe and can thrive. However, as a large company our responsibility goes beyond our actual business, and we want to contribute to making society at large a better place. That is why it is important that we help in the ways we can. By donating money to important humanitarian initiatives, we can improve the lives of people who need it the most, says Peter Wallin, President and CEO, Bonava.

Employees in all nine of the countries where Bonava operates decided which organisation the company should donate to and chose Doctors Without Borders through a vote. The donation will be made to the Swedish branch of the Doctors Without Borders organisation and has been earmarked for a project to support displaced people in Bangladesh.
