Bonava wins land allocation competition in Uppsala
Bonava has won the land allocation competition for phase 3 of Rosendal in Uppsala, Sweden. Bonava can now plan the construction of 90 apartments.
The land is located in southern Uppsala and comprises the new Rosendal district. The area is within cycling distance of Uppsala city centre, the university and Uppsala University Hospital. It is also close to local schools and shops and offers good public transport services.
- I am pleased that we can expand our project and development rights portfolio in a prime residential location in Uppsala. This win strengthens Bonava’s portfolio of development rights, our position as an active player in the Uppsala market and opportunities for us to create new homes and happy neighbourhoods for the city, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit Manager, Bonava Sweden.
Bonava will gain access to the land in 2019 and is planning to start selling the first apartments later that year.
