Bonava wins land allocations for a total of 500 homes in Stockholm
Bonava has won three land allocations for a total of approximately 500 homes in Stockholm. The common denominator for these land allocations, which are located in Rågsved, Östberga and Husby, is Bonava’s extensive focus on social sustainability, with the ambition of creating social and inclusive neighbourhoods with Nordic Swan Ecolabeled housing units.

Bonava has been awarded one land allocation for approximately 230 housing units in Rågsved and another for approximately 190 homes in Östberga. During the autumn, Bonava has also won a land allocation in Husby for approximately 200 housing units. In the upcoming detailed development planning processes, civil dialogue will be employed in several instances to ensure local support and site-specific solutions. The competition entries in Husby and Östberga were developed by the architects in Bonava’s design studio.
Bonava has become the first residential developer in Europe to receive approval from Science Based Targets initiative for its climate targets. Until 2030, Bonava will reduce the company’s negative impact on the climate by 50 per cent by adopting climate targets that conform to the IPCC’s recommendation to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.
