Updated information regarding Bonava’s Annual General Meeting on 31 March 2020

Bonava is taking precautionary measures for the AGM on 31 March as a consequence of the confirmed spread of the coronavirus (covid-19).

The Public Health Agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) has confirmed that the coronavirus is spreading in Sweden, and thus issued recommendations to limit the spread of the virus and to protect risk groups. This includes the recommendation that persons experiencing symptoms and older persons stay at home.

In light of this, Bonava encourages our shareholders to carefully consider the possibility of attending via proxy instead of physically attending the AGM. The relevant documents for attendance via proxy are available at https://www.bonava.com/bolagsstamma/arsstamma-2020.

Furthermore, Bonava would like to inform you that Euroclear Sweden is providing an opportunity for shareholders who do not intend to be personally present at the meeting to be represented by proxies from Euroclear Sweden. Read more about this offer from Euroclear at: www.euroclearproxy.se.

Bonava has also decided to take the following precautionary measures at the AGM:

  • No drinks or refreshments will be served.
  • Outside guests will not be invited, and participation by Board members and company management will be limited.
  • The duration of the meeting will be shortened, but without infringing on shareholders’ rights.
  • The planned CEO speech will instead be presented afterwards on Bonava’s website.

Bonava is taking these precautionary measures to safeguard our shareholders’ and employees’ health, and to limit as far as possible the potential spread of the new coronavirus.

Bonava will update the precautionary measures above ahead of the AGM in the event of new recommendations and as needed. For current information on the coronavirus, please refer to the Public Health Agency of Sweden’s website.

Bonava’s Annual General Meeting will begin at: 3:00 pm on Tuesday, 31 March 2020. Registration opens 30 minutes prior.
