How large is a home?

Today, three years after its formation and listing on the stock exchange, Bonava is initiating its largest brand campaign since the launch of the brand. Through various creative ventures, the campaign is taking its inspiration from the idea that a home is so much more than the square meters of floor space people occupy. The campaign is global in scope with a presence in all eight of the company’s markets, and will be shown on TV, in cinemas, in outdoor advertising and in digital channels.

- We focus on people in everything we do, and for this campaign we intend to highlight the sense of community a neighbourhood can bring about. We are challenging the traditional construction industry, which tends to focus on how many square meters people live in; instead, we believe that it is the quality of life people have in their homes that should be of interest, says Sofia Rudbeck, SVP Marketing and Sales, Bonava.

Recently, Bonava presented “The Happy Neighbourhood Report,” a comprehensive study in eight countries that highlights the factors necessary to create happy neighbourhoods. The findings of the study formed the basis for the design of the current brand campaign.

- As a data-driven residential developer, we have recognised people’s need for a sense of community. People moving into a Bonava home not only gain a fantastic home, they also have access to what we call ‘the third space.’ This could be anything from a hobby room, a greenhouse or roof terraces — spaces that promote social interaction. This campaign is in line with our vision of creating happy neighbourhoods, says Sofia Rudbeck.
