Bong acquires Bording Polska

Bong acquires Bording Polska Bong has today through its Polish subsidiary agreed to acquire the business in Bording Polska. The deal is expected to be finalized early next year and is conditioned by a due diligence. Bording Polska distributes and overprints envelopes to the Polish market and has annual revenues of approx. 5 MSEK. The operations will be integrated with Bong's current business in Poland and will further strengthen Bong's position on the fast growing Polish envelope market. Bong is a fast-growing international envelopes company. The Group has an annual turnover of some SKr 2.5 billion and around 1,900 employees. It has an annual production of some 16 billion envelopes at factories in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, Poland and Estonia. In recent years, Bong has played an active part in the current process of restructuring in the European envelope industry and sees valuable potential for further expansion. The acquisition of Bauwens in January 2000 was an important step in this process, making Bong one of Europe's leading envelope companies.
