Sales and Marketing Director and Vice President Anders Davidsson to be new President of Bong Ljungdahl AB Director of Sales and Marketing and Vice President Anders Davidsson is to succeed President and CEO Lennart Pihl, who will be leaving Bong Ljungdahl in the new year after six years' service. Anders Davidsson moved to Bong almost two years ago from McKinsey, where he had been for four years after having worked with marketing at Volvo and Ford. As director of sales and marketing and vice president, Davidsson has had ultimate responsibility for the Group's major European customers, and this spring also assumed the presidency of the troubled German subsidiary, with a turnover of MSEK 600. In a short space of time, Davidsson has achieved considerable improvement in this company, and recruited his German successor, Elmar Schätzlein, whose experience at Schneidersöhne will enhance Bong's marketing competence and strengthen the management in Germany. Davidsson is a graduate economist, and has a distinct international marketing orientation that is well suited to the further development of Bong's strategy in the ongoing restructuring of the European envelope industry. Lennart Pihl, who in recent years has completed a number of acquisitions to strengthen Bong's position on the European envelope market, will be assisting Davidsson for a transitional period as an advisor.
