Bookdialysis.com, the leading online booking engine for holiday dialysis patients is delighted to announce that it has signed an agreement with ALCER, to connect CKD patients to dialysis services whilst on the move.

ALCER (Asociación para la Lucha Contra las Enfermedades del Riñón – Association for the fight against kidney diseases) is Spain’s most prominent kidney patient association. It brings together over 50 regional organisations that combined, represent almost 60,000 patients across the country. Part of its mission is to improve CKD patients’ quality of life by supporting their social inclusion, an essential component of which is facilitating their freedom of movement.

Brought together by their mutual commitment to enhance the lives of CKD patients, bookdialysis.com and ALCER intend to leverage their resources and create synergies that will make it easier than ever for Spain-based dialysis patients to travel, anywhere across bookdialysis’ network of 800+ clinics across 5 continents.

Juan Carlos Julián Mauro, Director General of ALCER, expanded on the importance of the agreement: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Bookdialysis.com as part of our ongoing work in bridging the gap between CKD patients’ medical needs and their ability to travel freely.  As an association, we take great efforts to partner with organisations whose values and purpose are aligned with ours and I could not be more pleased to work with such a partner to further promote our cause”.

Aris Bailan, Managing Director of bookdialysis.com, added: “The agreement that has been signed with ALCER is the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication by the bookdialysis.com team to create an online platform that truly serves the travel needs of CKD patients across the world. We are honoured, humbled, and inspired by the vote of confidence this represents for our team. I look forward to seeing what this collaboration means for our future endeavors”.
