Bookdialysis.com, the leading online booking engine for holiday dialysis patients, is delighted to announce that it has signed an agreement with the European Kidney Patient Federation, (EKPF).

The EKPF is the umbrella organisation for 23 national kidney patients’ associations across Europe. The foundation of its activities is the health and well-being of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and their carers, an essential element of which is fulfilling unmet needs such as freedom of movement.

As a result of this agreement, bookdialysis.com is now poised to become a major partner in enabling EKPF to meet this need. By facilitating access to its rapidly expanding network of over 800 clinics across 5 continents worldwide, thousands of dialysis patients represented by the organisation will be able to travel with confidence, knowing their access to life-sustaining renal care is ensured.

Daniel Gallego, EKPF’s President, expanded on the importance of the agreement: “Mobility and freedom of movement are fundamental human rights. This is especially the case for chronic kidney disease patients, for whom travel can be a much-needed respite from the pressures that come with navigating a complex disease. That is why I am delighted that the EKPF will be working closely with bookdialysis.com, to make it easier than ever for our members to travel freely, whether for leisure, visiting loved ones or for work”.

Aris Bailan, Managing Director of bookdialysis.com, added: “Our organisation has seen some amazing achievements since we launched in 2017, and our agreement with EKPF is a particularly significant milestone. We are thrilled to have this level of trust placed in our team and the work we do. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this collaboration”.

About bookdialysis.com:

Founded in 2017, we have grown from a holiday dialysis directory to becoming the one-of-a-kind, go-to online booking engine for holiday dialysis patients around the world.

Launched online in 2018 as booknowmed.com and backed by private equity funds and WB EDIF, our vision took the community by storm, by allowing renal patients on holiday, or away from home, to browse dialysis clinics and book treatments on the spot. The support we received from National Kidney Patient Associations and broader renal care community alike, was game-changing, and has helped us grow our network of partner clinics every year.

Very quickly, we made a name for ourselves, evolving our brand to bookdialysis.com in 2022 whilst embarking on a transformational journey to offer the simplest, quickest and most reliable independent holiday dialysis booking experience for patients and renal care providers around the world.

Today, bookdialysis.com is a leading player in the field of holiday dialysis, offering a network of over 800 certified dialysis clinics across 5 continents.
