Boozt has won the award for the best logistics establishment in 2017 in Sweden for its automated fulfilment centre located in Ängelholm, Sweden. The award is handed out by the trade magazine “Intelligent Logistik”.

In their decision process, the award jury, consisting of several industry profiles and representatives from “Intelligent Logistik”, focused on, among other things, innovation, location from a logistical perspective, sustainable infrastructure, flexibility, freight flows, design and architecture, energy usage, working environment, automation or management solutions, and smart logistics solutions both outside and in the fulfilment centre.

The jury’s motivation for the award were: “Boozt and E-city Engelholm is an establishment that stands out with its innovative thinking and is unique in its ability to create flexibility that suits both big and small e-retailers. The properties have a clear environmental thinking with high energy efficiency and the establishment enables increased automation in an industry that otherwise had difficulty finding funding models to make greater investments in more effective logistic solutions. The whole establishment feels innovative and forward looking - all the way from concept to user. “ (Translation of the Swedish original text)

“It was very rewarding to receive this award as a testament to the extensive work we put into our logistics solutions and our CSR commitment,” says Hermann Haraldsson, Group CEO of Boozt. “When we decided to move to a new fulfilment centre it was natural for us to ensure that we were in the forefront of logistics and warehousing. With our new automated fulfilment centre, we can further shorten the time from order to finished packed order, thus giving more of our customers the opportunity to get their goods the next day. In addition, we managed to move some 2 million items in March, from our old warehouse to the new fulfilment centre, without any major problems, showing that our infrastructure is quite efficient,” concludes Hermann Haraldsson.
