Seasoned Executive Search Veteran, Ronald Wintzeus Strengthens Borderless Team
Brussels, September 19, 2013. Borderless, an established leadership consulting and executive search firm specializing in the Life Sciences, Process and Converting Industries, Food Processing and Environmental Technology sectors announces that Ronald Wintzeus has joined its team as Consultant. At Borderless, Ronald will support multinationals, expanding mid-caps and start-up companies in attracting and developing senior leadership teams.
Ronald’s focus, in particular, will be on supporting clients within the process and converting sector, which comprises oil and gas, chemicals, pulp and paper, steel, aluminum, and their associated convertors; and within the environmental technologies sector, which covers the practical end of sustainability such as environmental services, renewable energy, low carbon solutions and alternative materials.
Before joining Borderless, Ronald served as Partner and Vice President in several private and public executive search firms. His career has seen him manage assignments and client relationships across EMEA and globally, participating in international management assessment projects as part of M&A due diligence and post-merger integration.
For the EMEA region, he was Sector Leader for clients in the packaging, paper and forestry industry, and Functional Practice Leader for Corporate Affairs, entailing government, public and regulatory affairs, investor relations, corporate communications, corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
Before starting his executive search career, Ronald served with the Swedish Trade Council in Brussels; where he held diplomatic status as Commercial Counselor to Belgium, Luxembourg and the EU institutions. Additionally, he worked as a management consultant in the process and converting and technology sectors, and has held corporate positions as Vice President Marketing and Sales, Regional General Manager, Managing Director, Country Manager, Export Manager and Product Manager. Ronald has also served as executive committee member and has sat on several local Boards of Directors for the European subsidiaries of a former employer.

Ronald has lived and worked in Belgium, Germany, France, Sweden and Norway, and has done business globally – either directly or behalf of his clients. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from the Gothenburg University in Sweden; and holds appointment of Knight Commander in the Order of Leopold, the highest-ranking Belgian royal chivalry order.
A Swedish national, Ronald speaks Swedish, (Norwegian, Danish), English, Dutch, French and has working proficiency in German and Spanish.
