BPC Instruments launches BPC[®] Move – next generation mechanical mixing for a wide range of laboratory applications
BPC Instruments AB (“BPC” or “the Company”) announces today the global launch of BPC® Move – a compact standalone mechanical agitator ideal for easy and reliable mixing, dispersion, and dissolution of high solid suspension and particle-free solution. BPC® Move combines the strength and reliability of mechanical agitation with easy-of-use of magnetic stirring for a wide range of laboratory applications. The global launch of BPC® Move enables BPC to offer an alternative mixing solution to the existing huge market of general laboratory equipment.
In line with BPC’s operational objectives of launching a new generation series of analytical instruments in 2022, the Company now launches its second product of the new generation – BPC® Move. The concept of equipment originally comes from the BPC® Smart Agitation system which has been used in all Company’s flagship products. After refining the design and significant improvement on features, BPC® Move becomes a general-purpose and standalone agitator. It provides a new way of strong and reliable mixing, minimizing the risk of irregular spin commonly experienced with magnetic stirrers. With a cost efficient, durable, and ease-of-use profile, BPC® Move is expected to be a new door opener for the Company to enter a more general laboratory market where there is a high demand for strong, precise, reliable, and user-friendly agitation. BPC therefore expects a high global market potential with this new equipment.
Product Manager Dr. Sten Strömberg comments:
“BPC® Move is a durable, easily operated, and cost-efficient mixing solution for different sizes of standard GL45 laboratory flasks. Switching between different stirring rods is seamless and will give great flexibility in dispersing different volumes and types of media.”
CEO Dr. Jing Liu comments:
“BPC® Move combines the best features from magnetic stirrers and overhead mechanical mixers and provides a superior agitation experience for a wide range of laboratory usages. The concept of BPC® Move came from matching demand for cost-efficient and reliable stirring of multiple anaerobic digestion reactors on a bench scale during the development of one of the flagship products AMPTS® in 2009. The design and features have improved steadily after increasing interest in other applications, we decided to refine the concept and make it available as a general-purpose and standalone agitator. The release of BPC® Move marks another important milestone for BPC to widen its product portfolio and is well in line with our objectives for 2022, communicated in connection to our IPO in December 2021.”
