BPC Instruments receives orders from US bioenergy firm valued at 1.1 MSEK
BPC Instruments AB (publ) ("BPC") announces two consecutive purchase orders from a leading US bioenergy firm. The orders include the delivery of several instruments, including two AMPTS® III systems, with a combined value of approximately 1.1 MSEK. The client is replacing its entire setup for BMP tests based on manometric measurements with BPC's systems for both batch and continuous operation.
CEO Dr. Jing Liu comments:
"We are proud to collaborate with a leading player in the US as they continue to drive progress in RNG development, scale up renewable energy production, and expand their anaerobic digestion projects. Their operations span several states, with both established facilities and new projects underway, all focused on sustainable energy output. These orders reflect the importance of precise feedstock analysis, thorough quality control, and optimised processes, and it’s rewarding to see how our solutions contribute to the expanding biogas and biomethane industries."
BPC has received two consecutive purchase orders from a US national leader in transforming organic waste into renewable natural gas. The client is replacing its entire setup for BMP tests based on manometric measurements with BPC's systems for both batch and continuous operation to simplify its processes and achieve more reliable data, with increased precision and accuracy. The value of the orders amounts to approximately 1.1 MSEK and includes several instruments including two AMPTS® III. Over the past six months, total purchases from this client amounts to over 2 MSEK. Revenue from these orders is expected to be recognised in Q4 this year or Q1 2025.
About AMTPS® III
The AMPTS® III system is a well-designed analytical tool for performing various anaerobic batch fermentation tests. It allows users to determine the true biogas and biomethane potential as well as the dynamic degradation profile of biomass substrates. This capability helps optimise retention times, substrate combinations for co-digestion, pre-treatment methods, and the use of additives, while also evaluating the biological performance of individual biogas digesters or configurations. The system enables up to 18 or 9 test vials for biochemical methane potential (BMP) tests, biogas potential assays, biodegradability studies, specific methanogenic activity (SMA) assays, and residual gas potential (RGP) analyses. Tests are fully integrated and automated, with sampling, analysis, recording, and report generation made simple.
