BPC secures order for BPC Blue from global chemicals leader
BPC Instruments AB (publ) (“BPC”) has secured a purchase order for its flagship product, BPC® Blue, from a US-based global leader in MDI-based polyurethanes production. The order includes the delivery of BPC® Blue Aerobic systems, with a total value of approximately 800,000 SEK. While the financial value of the order is modest, its significance lies in the client’s industry stature. The client is a major producer of polyurethane materials, with large-scale production facilities in the US, the Netherlands, and China, and a global network of over 30 downstream formulation sites. This partnership could open doors for further business opportunities and serve as a reference for other industrial players as demand for biodegradability assessments of new polymers grows. The revenue from this order is expected to be recognized in the fourth quarter of this year.
CEO Dr. Jing Liu comments:
“BPC Blue has gained increasing recognition in the past year as a reliable and powerful tool for cost-effective material biodegradability evaluations. Known for its precision, ease of use, reliability, multifunctionality, and low maintenance, the instrument has received overwhelmingly positive feedback worldwide. This aligns with our future vision and the industry’s shift toward replacing single-use plastics with eco-friendly, biodegradable polymers. BPC Blue is quickly becoming the go-to solution for industrial manufacturers, research institutes, and certification service providers around the globe who need reliable, cost-effective methods to evaluate the biodegradability of innovative polymer materials. This recent order reaffirms the value of BPC’s analytical tools in the polymer sector.”
