A facelift for Bankomat ATMs
Now that Bankomat AB is taking over maintenance of more than 2000 ATMs in Sweden under the Bankomat® brand, many of these will be really getting a facelift. At least half of them will be replaced entirely, while the software in others will be upgraded. Profiling company Brand Factory has been commissioned to rebrand these ATMs.
The agreement between the two companies will remain in force for a number of years. The first stage will involve actually rebranding around 700 external ATMs which are not sited next to a bank. This work is expected to be completed by next summer. The project will involve both illuminated signs and regular signs, as well as peripheral services such as project management and dealing with planning permissions.

Bankomat® has been an established brand for a long time, but it is now a company as well, Bankomat AB. The brand has undergone a cautious update prior to the rebranding, with slight modernisation of the logo, colour and design. The biggest changes will be apparent at Swedbank and Sparbankerna ATMs, which will look the same as the other Bankomat® branded ATMs after the rebranding operation.
