Bravida grows in industrial piping in Sundsvall

Bravida acquires the company Åsbergs Rörteknik AB, thereby strengthening its position in industrial piping in Sundsvall and the surrounding area. The company has 40 employees and generates annual sales of around SEK 195 million.

Åsbergs Rörteknik AB was founded in 2011 and is active in industrial piping. It specialises in particular in industrial piping systems in the pulp and paper industry and the power plant industry. The customer base is mainly in the areas of pipe construction and pipe assembly. 

“With this acquisition, we are now strengthening our geographical presence in Sundsvall. This will allow greater opportunities for harnessing synergies, exchanging expertise and providing more services to our customers. It feels very exciting and pleasing that Åsbergs Rörteknik is now becoming part of Bravida,” comments Daniel Ytterbom, Regional Manager for the Industry Region at Bravida. 

Joakim Ehnberg, co-owner of Åsbergs Rörteknik AB, will remain with the business at Bravida, as will the other six co-owners; he comments:

“It feels good and gives us a sense of security to be part of Bravida, which has a clear vision for the future. We can now continue to build on what we have started, and we will carry on working in a way in which we feel confident. There will also be great opportunities to further develop ourselves and our employees.”

Bravida will become the new owner today on 1 November 2023.
