Bravida in a new multidisciplinary collaborative project
Bravida performs installations within electrical, ventilation, heating and plumbing when Fridhemsgymnasiet in Umeå gets completely renovated. The project has an order value of approximately SEK 100 million.
Fridhemsgymnasiet is facing a major modernisation. The new school will offer programs within elite athletics and vocational and university preparatory programs for about 1,600 students.
Bravida is commissioned by Rekab to perform all installations within electrical, ventilation, heating and plumbing in the large school project.
– We will have a close collaboration with Bravida throughout the whole project. They are a large and solid company with a good project organisation here in Umeå, says Stefan Karlsson, branch manager at Rekab.
The assignment is executed as a collaborative project, which means Bravida will be involved from the early design stage and work closely with Rekab through the whole project. Peter Norrman, Market Manager Bravida Umeå, will work as Project Manager. He says:
– It feels good to contribute to the future education environments here in Umeå. We have a lot of experience from previous collaborative project. One example is Dragonskolan, where we have a very satisfied customer. Bravida will work in the same spirit in this project to ensure that the customer receives modern premises and installations at lowest possible operating costs.
The project will start right away and is expected to be completed by the autumn term of 2019. Approximately 40 Bravida employees will be involved in the project.
In addition, Bravida is currently working in several major collaborative project around Umeå, for Landstinget in Umeå and Akademiska hus for instance.
