Bravida Norway has been awarded a contract to install all the heating and plumbing at a new school covering around 9,000 square metres in Alta in Northern Norway.

The new Komsa School will provide facilities for modern teaching and natural meeting places for both pupils and the local community. Bravida’s contract is for the provision and installation of all the heating and plumbing facilities in the project, including the heating, sprinkler and cooling systems.

“We are very proud to be part of this important and future-oriented school project in Alta. And we are also very happy with the collaboration with Harald Nilsen AS and Alta Municipality,” says Vegard Lund Aspen, Branch Manager for Plumbing and Piping in Tromsø and Alta at Bravida Norway.

Tore Kalland, the Project Manager at the main contractor Harald Nilsen AS, comments:

“We chose Bravida as our partner for this project because of the company’s solid expertise, and we look forward to having them on site as a local supplier.”

The project is currently in the design phase, with construction scheduled to start in Q4 2026 and completion expected in 2028.
