Bravida has acquired the operations of Blaxmo Kraft AB and EFAB Automation via a transfer of assets and liabilities deal. Bravida has thereby strengthened its position in electrical systems and automation in Örebro.

EFAB Automation was founded in 2015 and is currently active in automation in Örebro and central Sweden. The company has strong local connections and focuses mainly on customers in the residential, commercial premises and industrial sectors.

Blaxmo Kraft AB was founded in 1987 and is active in the area of electrical and control equipment for small-scale hydropower in Örebro, as well as in central and southern Sweden. The company specialises in holistic solutions for control functions in hydropower plants. It’s main customers are large market participants such as Fortum and Uniper, individual power plant owners and several municipally owned customers.

“The size of EFAB Automation as a company and its expertise make it a good fit for our region’s strategy to build up business activities in the area of automation. We will now be able to reach new customers. By acquiring Blaxmo Kraft AB, we can enlarge our service portfolio in the electricity and power segment as a result of the company’s interesting niche business,” comments Sven Westdahl, Regional Manager for the Närke, Östergötland and Gotland Region at Bravida.

Fredrik Danielsson, current CEO of EFAB Automation and Erik Vogel, current CEO of Blaxmo Kraft AB, are both looking forward to the companies now becoming part of Bravida and believe that the acquisitions provide opportunities for further development and growth. Erik emphasises that access to customers throughout the whole of Sweden will improve and Fredrik is looking forward to continuing his company’s long-standing cooperation with Bravida.

Blaxmo Kraft AB has one employee and generates annual sales of around SEK 6 million. EFAB Automation employs 10 people and generates annual sales of around SEK 20 million. Bravida became the owner of both acquisitions on 1 June 2022.
