Bravida strengthens its position within security systems in Småland, Sweden

Bravida acquires the operations of Almqvist & Brunskog AB, based in Ljungby in Swedish Småland. The company has eight employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 12 million. Almqvist & Brunskog operates within installation and service in security systems and fire protection.

– This aquisition is a perfect complement to our newly started electrical operations in Ljungby. In total, we will have around 20 employees in Ljungby, and we will be able to offer our customers a broad range of competencies, says Åke Forsberg, Regional Manager Bravida, region Jönköping.

Since the 1990’s, Almqvist & Brunskog has delivered solutions and services within the areas of security systems, fire alarms and fire protection. Among the customers are industries, the public sector, commercial property companies and building contractors.

– We have had a favourable development since the foundation of the company, but we feel that the next step is to become part of a larger organisation.  We are already well aquainted with Bravida in the local area, and we are looking forward to growing and developing together with our new network of colleagues, says the owner, Patric Brunskog.

Bravida takes over the operations on 1 June, 2016.
