Calling all Northamptonshire daredevils - leap into action with a 10,000ft charity skydive
Press release For immediate release: 08 September 2009 Press contact: Emily Snelling, 020 7749 4102 esnelling@breastcancercampaign.org Calling all Northamptonshire daredevils - leap into action with a 10,000ft charity skydive Breast Cancer Campaign are looking for 60 thrill seekers to join them in Brackley, Northamptonshire, and take to the skies, participating in one of the largest sponsored skydives, to help fund vital breast cancer research. There are only 20 places left so sign up now! Freefalling through the clouds at 120mph is a once in a lifetime experience, but it’s also a perfect opportunity to help the 45,500 women and 300 men that are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. So sign up now and help to make a difference. All you need to do to take on this challenge is raise the minimum sponsorship of £395. The first person to sign up quoting ‘Skydive2009’ will get their deposit fee waivered too! The group skydive will take place on October 18th (during Breast Cancer Awareness Month), however Campaign need skydivers to sign up as soon as possible ( before August 31st) to have enough time to raise sponsorship funds… places will be snapped up quickly so sign up now! All training takes place on the day and jumpers can freefall for free providing the minimum sponsorship is met. All the money raised from each skydive will help Breast Cancer Campaign beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
