The two sporting celebs are supporting Breast Cancer Campaign’s £100 Challenge throughout 2010 and are urging as many people as possible take on the Challenge in order to raise vital funds for breast cancer research. The Challenge is open to everyone, whether you’re part of a sports club, music group or even a ladies’ networking association and it’s easy to take part. Simply hold a fundraising event, aim to raise £100 (or more!) and have fun. You can do anything from coffee mornings with club members and sponsored events to quiz nights and black tie balls. Camilla Dallerup is supporting Campaign’s £100 Dance Challenge this year. She said “Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 125 people diagnosed with the disease every single day. So that’s why I’m encouraging you to help Breast Cancer Campaign beat this disease by signing up to its £100 Challenge. Anyone can take part and it’s a great way to have fun, so sign your club up today and help save lives.” Over 500 clubs took part in the £100 Challenge last year, raising over £270,000 to help Campaign continue funding innovative world-class research. We want to beat this target in 2010 but need your help, so sign your club up today.
