Press Release For immediate release: 02 October 2009 Press contact: Emily Snelling, 020 7749 4102 esnelling@breastcancercampaign.org Forces Financial ladies raise over £1,000 for breast cancer research Over 700 women and men danced themselves fit by taking part in the Breast Cancer Campaign and LessBounce.com Pink Aerobics in Regents Park on Sunday 27 September 2009. Nine Ladies from Force Financial, based in Hook, enjoyed three hours of outdoor Pink Aerobics and raised a staggering £1,000 in sponsorship to support Campaign and kick start Octobers Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Forces Financial specialise in insurance products for the Armed Forces. They have recently revised the benefits they provide female members of the Forces by enhancing their Personal Accident policy, which now includes cancer cover in the event that women are diagnosed with breast cancer or other female specific cancers. When the team were researching statistics as part of this project they were shocked to discover that 46,000 women are diagnosed every year and this inspired the ladies to support Pink Aerobics. Claire Ford from Forces Financial said: “Pink Aerobics was a great event, the weather was fantastic and we had a fun afternoon working out and raising vital funds for breast cancer research. We are pleased to have raised such a staggering amount of money and we are still looking to raise even more!.” Selaine Saxby, Proprietor of LessBounce.com said: “ We are thrilled that Forces financial took part Pink Aerobics in Regent Park.
